Beautiful – the footsteps and dark cloud over the sand bring it to another level. (I got here from J. Todaro)

Wow, amazing photo! Realy beautiful. I just want to walk on that beach
January 21, 2013 at 6:48 pm
Thanks Yvonne. It’s my new favourite beach. It only appears for a couple of hours each day so I have to check the tide times to be sure the beach is going to be there. Makes it all the more special I think.

January 21, 2013 at 1:54 pm
Thanks Karen. The shadow of the cliff.. sounds like the title of a book or something..

Have just come back from having lunch on the beach. It is cold here and yes, the receding waters in low tide looked lovely.

I agree. It certainly does look its finest when it’s cold. I’m looking forward to some pics with your new lens. When do you get it?
January 21, 2013 at 1:20 am
Thank you John. I’m not sure when the new lens is coming. I’d imagine this week sometime.

Beautiful. I watched Iron Lady last nite, and they showed the beach at Cornwall briefly.
January 20, 2013 at 11:21 pm
Thank you Bumba. I’ve not seen Iron Lady. I knew that Margaret Thatcher used to holiday in Cornwall as does the current PM with his family.

Beautiful image – a marvellous location. I lived in Looe for two years but now live near the Lake District. Looking forward to following your photographic journey through Cornwall – thanks for posting.

On cold days the sea is so beautiful because there is not so much people and it’s only you little man and the big sea.
January 20, 2013 at 6:23 pm
I’ve found that to be true quite often (though not always.)
January 20, 2013 at 6:18 pm
No, not always Gunta.
I think with the cold there is perhaps a clarity to the air that makes everything so sharp and being deserted helps
January 20, 2013 at 7:55 pm
Gorgeous colors and clarity and I love the precise wedge of shadow!
January 20, 2013 at 6:16 pm
Thanks very much Viv, that was the cliff throwing the shadow.
January 20, 2013 at 7:49 pm
It does look very inviting, even on a cold day. Great photo, Adrian.
January 20, 2013 at 5:37 pm
Thank you very much Sylvia. It does look inviting but I wouldn’t recommend dipping one’s toes..
January 20, 2013 at 7:48 pm
