Heavy Weather

Just as the sun was starting to sink in the sky towards dusk yesterday, I took the following picture. A heavy, sqaully shower was moving rapidly in my direction, the sun reflected in the top of the thunderhead..

    • It was quite a sight to behold Karen. I know these cumulonimbus thunderheads can give rise to some quite dramatic skies but this one, the way the late afternoon sun was being reflected in the upper reaches really made for quite a spectacle. I imagined the starship Enterprise bursting through the cloud any second. ;-)
