Mornin’
I’ve taken this picture before and I expect I’ll be taking it again. It’s always different. This is what I woke up to this morning. I love these misty late spring/early summer mornings. When the day starts like this, it’s got to be a good day and it was. I hope the same for you..

Thank you Sylvia. I’m enjoying these mornings very much at the moment. After all the terrible storms this winter, we seem to be enjoying a really nice spring. :-)

I love those mornings – beautiful in their soft stillness. This Easter i was up very early all those fine mornings and happily caught some of them on photos too. I’m not an early bird really, but when it comes to photography…
April 24, 2014 at 8:00 pm
Thank you Ann-Christine. I do enjoy the early mornings thankfully, and for photography, it’s a real plus. :-)

Lovely shot and isn’t it great how one scene can provide so many different images, according to season, light, weather…..MM 🍀
April 24, 2014 at 8:08 pm
Thank you MM. I can return to the same locations time after time and always get a different picture. Definitely works in the photographer’s favour. Even the most iconic, most photographed landmarks can create new pictures.

This is so beautiful that it makes me want to walk out into the mist and get my slippers wet with dew.
April 24, 2014 at 8:08 pm
That makes me happy! I’m so glad the photograph had that impact. Thank you so much!

Thank you Lou! I love the misty mornings, wether springtime with dew or autumn with frost, both beautiful
April 25, 2014 at 7:39 pm
Fantastic scenery to get up to Chillbrook. I was up early this morning and got some similar scenes, we had our first frost for the year, though not really severe.
April 24, 2014 at 11:37 pm
Thank you Leanne. I love the way these mists appear in sprintime and in the autumn. I don’t usually associate frost with Oz.. :-)

Absolutely stunning Adrian. Reminds me of an old masters painting. Gorgeous atmosphere.
April 25, 2014 at 8:14 am
Thank you David. It was one of those moments where I wandered outside to do a mundane chore and there was the picture. I then had the question, forget the chore and get the camera? Will the picture still be there when I’ve got the camera so should I bother? I was glad I dropped everything and went back for the camera in the end.
April 26, 2014 at 6:18 pm
I’ve haven’t been to paradise yet, but I would like to imagine this comes close… Its enchanting. Thank you for sharing.

This totally reminds me of home and the many lazy cornish sunrises I used to watch after a party. Really nice.

Thank you Ben! I remember a few mornings after parties like that myself. Glad it brought back good memories Ben!

Very atmospheric.

I printed and framed this picture the day I took it Andy and it formed part of a small exhibition I had this weekend. My landlady stopped by and seeing this photograph said that she liked it very much and asked where was it taken. I share this view from my cottage with the main farmhouse, in fact my landlady’s kitchen window overlooks this field albeit set back a little so there’s a good chance she’s looked across this field every day for the last 30 years or so.. she took some convincing. :-)
April 27, 2014 at 10:17 pm
I just mentioned to someone how nice it is to revisit places because the same view is always different. This is awesome!
April 27, 2014 at 11:29 pm
Thanks so much PC. It really is so true and just as well for us photographers given just about everything has already been photographed a million times.

April 29, 2014 at 4:28 pm
It’s beautiful Adrian- both the image and the treatment. Have you printed it?
April 29, 2014 at 3:38 pm
Thank you John. I have printed it. I mounted and framed it the same day I took it last week and I had it exhibited at the weekend. A lady from North Carolina saw it and fell in love with it. She couldn’t carry it back to the States and left. She then came back to see the picture twice. She will be contacting me when she gets home and I’ll arrange to ship it. It does look nice framed.
