Wow – very artistic and refreshingly different to the reeds I know. Well done!

I like the changing colours here with the green(ish) morphing into black(ish) against the blue.
I tried something similar with trees (not posted) and found that selecting the right group of trees took as much effort as getting the right exposure duration and smooth movement!

Thanks Noeline. There were fresh green shoots coming amongst the brown reeds from last year’s growth and the blue sky gave the water a good colour. This was a fun experiment for me. I’m quite pleased with the result. I’ve had a go. It was all very much trial and error though. Thank heavens for digital, it gives us so much freedom not worrying about the cost of film when playing around like this.. :-)

I love this, Adrian! The colors and hint of movement in the reeds is beautiful in its abstraction.

Adrian, I can see this hanging on my wall! Not like you – but I knew immediately it was you. The colours are there and the feeling of natural completeness. Beautiful.
