Skogafoss

This is one of a number of short films I made whilst in Iceland.  It’s a shame it wasn’t a better morning when visiting this amazing waterfall.  Thankfully on other days filming, the weather was better.  Why not sit back for a minute or two, listen to this wonderful piece of music and enjoy this wonderful scenery.. :-)

An amazing different perspective of Skogafoss. Such a beautiful waterfall cascade ChillB … looking over what feels like a precipice and d o w n vertically into the waters and mist is a terrific moment !
Funny thinking I was down there wiping my lens and waving to the Phantom hum in the sky :-)
What fun you all had with the drone . I know you’ve lots more footage, hopefully we’ll have a chance to see some more of those – let’s say- in some cases rather inaccessible places … especially after encouraging Poppytump to follow you up a CLOSED F Road :-D

    • Thank you so much Poppy. It’s early days with the drone but I can see it’s going to be a really great addition to my kit. Such a wonderful view of the world it gives you.

  10. Very beautiful Adrian – have you gotten yourself a drone my friend?!

    November 1, 2015 at 2:44 am

    • Thank you very much Tina! I have indeed got myself a drone and having an amazing time with it. It gives such a wonderfully unique view of the world. Several times I’ve been flying with birds above and below. I often wondered what there view of the world was. I’m now getting a pretty good idea and I like it very much! :-)

  12. There is indeed a mix of artistic beauty in both the images you reveal to us with your video and the music…simply incredible sights and sounds. Great work Adrian.

    • Thank you very much Randall! The haunting melody of the Lonesome Boatman seemed to fit the landscape so well but then there’s a lot in common between Iceland and Ireland and not just the landscape in places!

      • The tune and melody I agree was perfect. You have made Iceland one of those dream spots for me to visit…and I look forward to the day I can see with my own eyes the beauty you have put forth in your photos and videos.

  13. Not the best weather, no, but still a lovely little video. The music adds another dimension.

    • Thank you Otto! I’m really rather enjoying editing the video to music. I’m looking forward to many more opportunities to get both my camera and my drone working together.
