A Stormy Day at the Beach..

..With a good friend and fellow blogger Poppy Tump.

With Poppy visiting for the next week, we’re looking forward to a fabulous week of photography.  Lots of locations planned, today it was Chapel Porth.  Here the gale force winds were whipping the salt in the water to a rich creamy foam.  It was fascinating to watch and photograph.

Having been thoroughly sand and salt blasted and with lots of images captured, we stopped at Crantock near Newquay on the way home to allow Poppy to give Lottie a run on a slightly more sheltered beach.  Having said that, the patterns in the sand, created by wind, indicate it wasn’t that much more sheltered. It was a good start to the week. ;-)

40px spacerI’m happy to say I have just been commissioned to produce photographs to hang in a large hotel in Lostwithiel.  The hotel is popular with tourists from Italy, Germany and the USA, keen to see (and hopefully take home copies of) images of the places they visit whilst in Cornwall. :-)
